If you’ve been feeling stuck in anxiety, fear, trauma, or emotional overwhelm - you’re not alone — and more importantly, you’re not beyond help.
As a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience, I’ve seen how deeply the body holds onto stress, shock, and past experiences.
But I’ve also seen something else:
The body has an incredible ability to heal — when given the right conditions.
My Story:
My journey into this work became personal after experiencing my own traumatic accident.
After a head injury from a fall, I intuitively used techniques to calm my system — even before formally training in them. I found myself naturally using what I later learned was Havening, alongside Reiki.
Despite the trauma, I experienced no long-term emotional or nervous system effects.
That moment changed everything for me.
It showed me that trauma doesn’t have to stay stuck.

Havening Techniques® are a gentle, neuroscience-informed approach that help the brain and body release the emotional impact of stressful or traumatic experiences.
Sometimes the body continues to react long after an event has passed. Havening® uses soothing touch and guided focus to help calm the nervous system and update how the memory is held. It 'de-links' the emotion from the event.
The process is gentle, does not require reliving the event, and many people notice they feel calmer, lighter and more in control afterwards.
