A Different Approach To Healing ...

I combine my background as a Registered Nurse with neuroscience-based techniques and gentle mind-body approaches to help your nervous system safely release what it's been holding.

This is not talk therapy.  It works at the level where fear, stress & trauma actually live - in the body & nervous system - not just the thinking mind.

Depending on what you're carrying, our work may include:

  •   Havening Techniques (gentle trauma & fear processing without reliving it)

  •   NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) - rewiring the patterns & beliefs that keep you stuck

  • Ericksonian hypnotherapy - working with the unconscious mind through permissive, indirect suggestion

  •   Nervous system regulation - practical tools to move out of stress & anxiety

  •   Reiki - Energy-based support for deeper regulation

Why I Do This Work ...

I’m Tash — a Registered Nurse with over two decades of clinical experience, a trained NLP Master Practitioner, Havening Techniques Practitioner, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, and Reiki II Therapist. I came to this work through my own experience.  I’ve lived through serious accidents, trauma, grief, and the kind of stress that doesn’t respond to the usual advice.  Long before I formalised my training, I was instinctively reaching for mind-body approaches — and discovering that they worked in ways that nothing else had.  What I kept seeing in my nursing career — and what I see in private practice — is intelligent, capable people suffering unnecessarily.  Not because they aren’t trying, but because nobody has given them the right tools, or helped them understand what is actually driving the patterns.  That is what Mind Over Body NZ exists to change.  I work online, which means I can support people anywhere in New Zealand.  Sessions are available during the day, evenings after 7pm, and on weekends (on arrangement) — because I know that life doesn’t always fit into business hours.​​
